 CLIMB, DIE, RETRY (Global Game Jam 2015, HvA) 

In this portfolio, you will find plenty of works that I have done on different subjects such as Games, Virtual Reality, Video or Design !

"Climb. Die. Retry." was developed as part of the Global Game Jam 2015, an international 48 hours game development competition. The game is a cooperation Die and Retry game in which one you have to climb a trapped tower, if one of the two players dies, both retry ! With this project we finished 5th over 27 teams.

 Song Of Syrens (ESIEA Student Project 2014-2015) 

The Sy.R.En.S project (Système de Repérage dans l'Environnement par le Son) aims to transform every solid surface into a touch screen thanks to the sound.

For the fun part, the user will play to the game "Song Of Syrens", developed by the team, in which one the player will be a little viking lost in the ocean, which have to be guided by the mermaid's song  ("sirène" in french), to find his way back.

As part of the Virtual Reality course, we had to do a 2 weeks project, my teammate and I had the idea to make a software which map the user's skeleton (captured by a Kinect) on a virtual avatar (here we created a 3D model of the NBA player LeBron James), the result is a sort of virtual mirror, because the avatar does every movement of the user.

As part of my Virtual Reality specialty, I could do an other project (see Virtual Avatar), this one was more a state of the art, I had to try differents equipment of tracking and an Oculus to immerse a user into a empty world where he could create and transform things by the movement of his hands and could deplace into this world with his deplacement in reality.

As part of my summer school at Glyndwr University (Wales) in game development, I had 2 weeks to do a little game with my team, we choose to make an FPS in which one the user appears in a maze (randomly generated) and have to find his way and fight little monsters (Minions).

As part of the Virtual Reality course, I had to make a basic 3D Engine which can open 3D models and their animations, apply shaders, support clustering, does anaglyph, let the user move, etc.... And an other mode which film a place and create contents on markers (Augmented reality).

Game Demo

 WinTea (ESIEA Student Project, October 2014) 

As part of my studies, I had to make an Android app. With my teammates we chose to develop an application to help user to infuse his tea perfectly. With a 150+ tea database, the user can choose how he wants his tea (light, normal, full-flavoured) and only have to respect the recomandations (water temperature, quantity). Then the app will start a timer and ring when the tea is infused.

 MERLIN's Rituals & the Round Table curse (Global Game Jam 2016, HvA) 

"Merlin's Rituals & the Round Table curse" was developed as part of the Global Game Jam 2016, an international 48 hours game development competition. The game is a 2D platformer game, you are Merlin from Camelot and you have to save all the bewitched knights through 8 levels in which one you have to fight monsters and retrieve items that may let you free the castle !
